Being a young adult and raising a family in today's world can be challenging. That's why you need a community of believers to lean on. Our group believes that a community of believers is vital and that we should carry each other's burdens (Galatians 6:2), encourage and help each other (1 Thessalonians 5:14), and love each other deeply while serving others and being faithful stewards of God's grace (1 Peter 4:8-11). We meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 for bible study and fellowship in the Family Life Center classroom. We also get together a few times a year for family fun fellowship including Friendsgiving, Pumpkin Patches, Ladies Tea, and more!
Our Senior Adults are fun, amazing people full of stories and good, godly wisdom. This group meets regularly on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 at O'Charley's for a meal and wonderful, fun fellowship.
Our Seniors are active in our church and our community and serve with excellence. We love and appreciate our Seniors.
Our men get together on Thursday mornings at 6:00 at The Rebel Restaurant on S. Lee Highway where the food is fresh, the staff is outstanding and the service is top notch. We share, we talk and we encourage one another. All men are welcome.
Our ladies meet weekly at the home of Sister Jan Couch. The agenda includes fellowship, sharing and lots of prayer. If you are looking for a group of women dedicated to praying for the needs of the community and each other, this is a great group to become part of. For location information, please see Pastor Cain or a member of the staff.
"A Cord of 3 Strands" Writers' Group grew out of a Wednesday night study about writing and has been going strong ever since. Meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the mini-chapel, this group is great for anyone who is interested in honing their writing skills.
"I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose." - 1 Corinthians 1:10
